Cruz Roja Ambulance Service by: Julie Pearson & Denise Studer Cruz Roja (CR), based in Primo Tapia provides ambulance service for emergencies.  For the present time, it is available from 11 am until 7 am the next morning when it will return to Rosarito for sanitizing, restocking, and a new paramedic crew begins its shift. Anyone (non-national) wishing to use this service must be a member. You will need your membership card and complete a 9-1-1 Alert Form that provides your medical information in the event of an emergency. The membership card and Alert Form are available at the Thrift Store in Primo Tapia on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00 until 2:30. The card fee is $20 for each family member. The service area covered by CR Primo Tapia is between Boulevard 2000 and Bajamar. It is important to know the service from Primo Tapia will transport you to the border but only if it is a life-threatening situation. If it is not an emergency and you don’t need ambulance service, go to Ensenada for medical treatment. The Cruz Roja telephone number will be provided when you receive your membership card. Por el momento está disponible desde las 11 am hasta las 7 am del día siguiente cuando regresará a Rosarito para desinfección, reabastecerse y que un nuevo equipo de paramédicos comience su turno. Cualquier persona (no nacional) que desee utilizar este servicio debe ser miembro. Necesitará su tarjeta de membresía y completar un formulario de alerta 9-1-1 que proporciona su información médica en caso de una emergencia. La tarjeta de membresía y el Formulario de Alerta están disponibles en la Tienda de Segunda Mano en Primo Tapia los martes, miércoles y jueves de 10:00 a 2:30. El cargo por tarjeta es de $20 por cada miembro de la familia. El área de servicio cubierta por CR Primo Tapia es entre el Boulevard 2000 y Bajamar.
